Evidence of Evolution

Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the publication of “On the Origin of Species”, this celebration of evolutionary development combines beautiful photographs of plants and animals with text to express Darwin’s greatest discovery to a general audience in a unique and vivid manner. “Evidence of Evolution” uses images by nature photographer Susan Middleton to reveal patterns of evolutionary development in animals and plants. These photographs, of remarkable specimens from the collections of the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, are accompanied by a clear overview of the key evolutionary concepts that explain life on Earth, by science writer Mary Ellen Hannibal.

Copies of the book will be available to purchase for the authors to sign.
